Why Does My Wire Stripping Machine Keep Feeding Errors?
Feeding errors usually appear as wire slipping, unstable length, wire bending, or the machine stopping before the wire reaches the blade area.
Problem Description
The wire may fail to move forward smoothly, move at different speeds, or stop before cutting. This causes wrong cut length, poor stripping quality, and frequent operator adjustment.
Common Causes and Solutions
01Feeding rollers are too loose or too tight
→ Fix: Adjust roller pressure step by step. The wire should move firmly without being flattened or marked.
02Roller surface is dirty or worn
→ Fix: Clean the roller surface and check for wear. Replace the roller if the groove is polished, cracked, or uneven.
03Wire guide is not aligned
→ Fix: Align the inlet guide, rollers, blade center, and outlet guide so the wire travels in one straight path.
04Wire spool tension is unstable
→ Fix: Reduce pulling resistance from the spool and avoid tangled wire before feeding.
05Feeding length parameter is incorrect
→ Fix: Recheck the set length, compensation value, and unit. Test 5-10 pieces before batch production.
